In the heart of Slovenske gorice, only 15 km from Maribor, you can find the winery farm Mulec. Our tradition of high quality wine production stretches back to over 100 years. We have 5 ha of vineyards and each year, we produce and bottle around 30.000 litres of wine.        We offer a wide range of variety wines. Among them, there are nine white varieties (Welschriesling, Sauvignon, Traminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Muller-Thurgau, Yellow Muscat, Muscat Ottonel and our house speciality Blanc de Noir - Pinot Noir), Rosé and two red varieties (Zweigelt and Pinot Noir).    Five years ago, we decided for integrated production of grapes and wine. We gather the grapes exclusively by hand and press it in a modern pneumatic wine press. White wines are left to mature in stainless steel inox containers for at least one year and for red wines, we use wooden barrels where wines are left to mature for at least two years.  Modern technology for processing and production enables us to produce top-quality dry and sweet wines as well as sparkling and predicate wines.          Aside of modern technology and love, with which the wine is produced, the best Southern location of Ročica and Spodnje Hlapje make a significant contribution to high quality of our wine. In our 150-year old wine cellar, you can also find ice harvests, dry berry selections as well as red sparkling wine from Blue Pinot. We will pamper you with guided wine tastings, where you will have the opportunity to hear the stories of our wine varieties in a pleasant atmosphere of the wine cellar. Here, you can taste, smell and feel the wines with all of your senses.   Beside of all that, you can also treat yourself to culinary pampering and wide range of home-made delicacies. We are very proud of our home-made jams, produced to our own recipes from carefully selected fruits from our own farm. This is why some flavours are only available in limited quantities and depend on the weather conditions. Our winery farm also has two tennis courts and a green area for different sports games but the real attraction is the enclosure with numerous fallow deer.   Get to know us, be our guest and allow us to pamper you with our delicacies and hospitality.
